Mortgage Broker Assistant/Trainee

Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists for a mortgage broking assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be looking to embark on a career in Mortgage Broking, with the role providing the perfect learning opportunity and environment to grow. You would be encouraged to undertake the Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking as part of your employment, if you have not already completed it.

You will be working closely with the Director and Senior Mortgage Broker, and other members of the Securinvest team.

Responsibilities include

  • Communicating with clients to request relevant support documents
  • Preparing loan documentation
  • Processing loan applications
  • Handle inbound and outbound client phone calls and emails
  • Loan tracking and liaising with lenders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Communicate with other professionals within the loan process
  • Provide general support to mortgage brokers
  • Work closely with the other members of the Securinvest team, nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships
  • Encouraged to build new client relationships and referral networks
