Simon has recently joined and become a director at Securinvest after over 25 years working in and running integrated financial services businesses.

While always passionate about helping SME business owners in all aspects of their businesses, he is even more so after spending 12 months working in CFO and finance roles in the “real world”.

When not at work, Simon is a (paid up and passionate) Hawks man, is very involved in his son’s junior sport (including being a full time taxi!) and with any time left, he is a discerning wine drinker and dabbles in smallgoods and chili jam making.

Gary’s into sport – any and all sports, really.

In his free time, you’ll find him escaping to fresh locations locally or around the globe, or simply out for a bite with some friends.

As a lifelong learner he has a wealth of experience gained working with some very clever business leaders and specialists across the world.

Leveraging his Accounting and Economics experience he loves to help business owners strategically run a better business, no matter what stage the business life is at.

Born in Glasgow and Football mad (the beautiful global game), Alec enjoys a good laugh, travel, fine food, wine and malt whisky, with his family and friends – not necessarily in that order!

Jody’s a bit of an adrenaline junky, Especially if it’s water related – jet-skiing, ski-racing, boats of all shapes and sizes.

She’s also a fan of motorbikes, footy golf and travelling, especially in the USA.

Colin has 4 decades of experience in taxation and business advisory services covering a vast array of businesses, individuals and family groups.

His hands on style is appreciated by many clients who have been with him for many years.

He engenders a trusting relationship with his clients which is crucial in providing succession and estate planning type services.

He has worked at all levels of small and large accounting practices over his career and always has a collaborative approach with clients and their various advisors, especially financial planners.

Colin is an avid Carlton supporter and always enjoys finding a new location in Australia to visit with his family camping, fishing and bush walking.

Jenny loves playing golf, travelling and her number one AFL club, North Melbourne Kangaroos.

On any of her days off, you’ll find her teeing up on the green, or planning her next travel escape.

Rachel is somewhat of a sports fanatic.

When she’s got a spare moment, you’ll either find her in the water or on the court.

And when on the sidelines, she’ll be in full supporter mode for her beloved Geelong Cats.

Laura’s a voracious reader and traveller.

She’s something of a fitness junkie too, and loves spending time with her family.

James is a Tigers man through and through, and AFL is big on his agenda both on and off the field.

His active lifestyle doesn’t stop there – you’ll also find him in the surf or hitting a six on the cricket ground.

When Tom isn’t playing sport (mostly cricket, soccer and AFL), he’s most likely watching sport.

But he fits in a fair bit of family and friend time around the sporting calendar, and loves to travel.

Pitamber loves playing and watching Soccer with his favourite team being Manchester City.

He has a goal to travel the world and see at least 100 countries in his lifetime.

Pitamber prides himself on his positive outlook and is always striving to be his best.

Hong is the queen of snacks, she loves to try different snacks and share around to the team.

In her spare time, she loves cooking her special dishes for her family and friends.

Swimming, badminton, and table tennis are her favourite sports.

Simone’s a keen cook and baker, but she also quite loves dining out.

When she’s not chasing the epicurious sweet life, she’s most likely curled up with a book or hunting down the latest and greatest in film.

When Naomi isn’t uber driving her teenaged daughter around, you can find her at the MCG watching her beloved Tigers or creating a cheese board and pairing it with a bottle of wine or Prosecco.

She also like to holiday anywhere the sun will be shining and the cocktails are flowing.

Christos dedicates much of his time to training at the gym and enjoying a good book. He values time with family and friends and is a passionate follower of the NRLs Melbourne Storm. He maintains a balanced lifestyle by combining fitness, learning, and social time.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Jacqui has lived in London and Auckland, Zealand and now calls Melbourne home, having moved here in 2022. A mother of three, she enjoys travelling, photography and unwinding at home with a good movie.

Waruni keeps the numbers in check while bringing a bright, positive vibe to everything she does. When she’s not crunching figures, you might find her on the dance floor—she believes that if anything goes wrong, the best fix is to “dance it away.” A proud cat lover, who enjoys spending time with family and friends, and when the weather plays nice, she loves heading outdoors for a good hike.
